The desperation in the Clinton camp showed the night before these latest primaries and caucus in what seems a shoot in all directions and praying one bullet hits the target tactics. And so, the campaign descended so low into plagiarism battle of wit in which only Lou Dobbs seemed to buy or care about. America has grown past Lou Dobbs and others who prowl on people's fear.

At this point, it seems to me only an act of God or Obama himself can stop Obama. Since this freight train left the station, it has gobbled 10 victories in 10 states without a stopping mechanism in place by the opposition. And the desperation sets in, even innocent words of pride by Michelle Obama, the same words which most of us who have lived in this country for so long have voiced in obvious commemoration of America suddenly became bad words. Michelle innocently and with pride said; For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country, because it feels like hope is making a comeback… not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change. If you noticed what many people have said during the course of this campaign, it has been along the same line. In white communities after white communities, people have voted without caring about race. They have all been voting for meaningful CHANGE.

However, Lou Dobbs and even McCain's wife are now desperately trying to exploit these innocent words of pride! We all share Michelle's views not because we did not love America prior to these primaries, what we are saying is that we are even more so now because the young ones have rejected the toga of racism which long ago seemed inheritable, like something in the gene pool. This is what Michelle and Michael (this writer) are really proud of!!

 And about tonight, these are the primary and caucus results from Wisconsin and Hawaii and the even more compelling  reasons to be proud of America. America indeed has come a long way without regards to what some politicians and people trying to sell an Independents Day book will have us believe;

And so, the cynics say Obama is a Republican booby trap; to which the answer must be; he who digs a hole to trap his enemy needs 2 such holes, one for the enemy and one for the one that sets the booby trap. This also has to do with the law of unintended consequences. If Obama has not tried, would he know he could get this supports in lilly white states, mixed states and in-between states? The blacks at first doubted Obama's capacity to win, but the whites knew it was time for a clean sweep of Washington with a unique break from the past, so the lilly white Iowa led the way.

What Obama brought to this race is hope, without hope, he would have been trapped in a mind set that says no white will ever vote for a black presidential candidate. Even if Obama loses the general election, he would have shown and demonstrated the power of hope steeped in faith. This is what all who doubt the power of their capabilities to overcome adversities should take from Obama and this election.

Newsflash
Concerned that it could lose several primaries and caucuses through the rest of February, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign sought to create an alternate storyline of success on Thursday by announcing that Mrs. Clinton had raised $7.5 million online so far this month.
